The many uses of Poop

The Land by the Sea
Or
How to Dance the Purk

The world will never change. People try their best to have dignity, and the biggest part of it they succeed. Sitting up straight to look taller, using high and mighty words to seem more intelligent, choosing clothes carefully so no one will look down on you. And at the same time it is very strange that this whole world that we try to maintain, this dignified and adult world can come crashing down with just simple words. Poop.

“Buzz buzz.”
“What?” The Queen looked bewildered at her friend Daisy.
“You work so hard.” Daisy crossed her arms and really made those four little words sound like a big insult.
“I AM the Queen. And I already told you that you should not have come today since I was going to bore you.” She did not even look up from her paperwork; she did not have time to be a friend today.
Daisy exhaled and shook her head, making the knot her hair was in untangle a bit and leaving her with a rather strange hairdo. Never mind. “I’ll go sit in your sofa until you’re done then.” Dragging her feet along, making it really sound like she was an injured dog that no one wanted to help, she threw herself in the darling red sofa.
A couple of minutes passed, and the Queen focused on writing letters to nobles and really made the words sound beautiful. Like a composition. A low squeak was heard from the sofa in the other side of the room. She froze. “What are you doing Daisy?”
“Entertaining myself. Don’t worry; I will try to be quieter.”
And apart from the occasional squeaking and cutting and rustle from paper, the Queen was not disturbed. A prickling sensation in the back of her neck made her then twitch. And again.
“Ouch!” She flipped around and she could see that Daisy was in the sofa maybe 4 meters away from her, but in her hand was something that could only be described as a long poking device. Many many pencils taped together and with a stabbing motion Daisy could poke the Queen from a distance.
“Come on! I need to work. Please don’t do this to me. Can’t you just be nice?”
“I am not sure if that is more fun for me.” A smirk in Daisy’s face appeared.
The Queen grabbed the poking device and broke it in pieces. “There.” She turned half around when she felt something stick to her hair. And again. And again. And Again. Small pieces of paper with Daisy’s saliva were thrown into the Queens hair. She slowly breathed out and then stood up and walked over to Daisy. “Fine, you win. What do you want to do? I’m all yours.”
Daisy looked at her, a rather puzzled look on her face now. She scratched her head. “What do you mean, What I want to do?” She got up and smiled a huge and wonderful smile at the Queen. Then she grabbed the Queens quill and personal seal and ran for the door. “I am already doing what I want to do!” She screamed and laughed hard as she got the Queen to run after her.
